What is the length of a 1970 accelerator cable? I need to replace my cable.

I'd like to oblige, but not sure how to measure the length of an installed cable. And I don't have one on the shelf.

Is NOS or a service replacement available? That would be the route I'd take.

This is the PRODUCTION throttle cable for 1973 Corvettes. It became the SERVICE cable for 1968-72 Corvettes (except 3X2) when the original cable, GM #3934091, was discontinued. I do not know what the difference was between the 2 cables but I know there had to be some difference.

The cable length is 19 3/4 Inches. Give or take an eighth of an inch.
