Great venue at Eagle Crest Resort, only drawback was some smoke from wildfires, but got better as the week went on. Thanks to all for their hard work.

Re: Northwest Regional Photos
I believe you are correct, I don't think we will get a hurricane in NY this coming week. However, I'll still be in the NW till Friday so hopefully it will be a non-issue by then.- Top

Re: Northwest Regional Photos
Thanks to everyone that attended, it was a good meet at a nice venue on the side of a golf course.
Hector Guzman was successful in the PV with his 67. The others did fail but I heard the ZR1 passed the acceleration
portion of his PV.
Dan and Lisa Johnson had the Blue 2001 for practice judging.
The concours judging was fun also. It is a great way to bring a car that is not a flight candidate out for people to enjoy.- Top

Tough for PV's. Un-confirmed that not one PV registrant (I heard 7) was successful.
The rain squall / weather front that passed through Thursday afternoon was impressive. Helped the fire situation though.
I'd like to thank Mike Doty, Wayne Loron, and please forgive me for not being able to recall the owner of the blue/tan 2001's name, for bringing their 2000, 2001, and 2002 out for trial judging and JRM manual development. These owners gave a team of about 6 individuals unlimited access to their cars for the entire day Friday for vetting the manuals, learning and verifying, etc. A lot of progress was made. Without cars to inspect and learn from, the JRM's couldn't be developed. Thanks.
Did you get home OK on that bad tire?Terry- Top

Re: Northwest Regional Photos
Thanks Vinnie for the pictures. We could have survived nicely without that downpour for a few minutes on Thursday afternoon....... I forgot who the guy was who said he heard it didn't rain in central Oregon. He found out otherwise..... Dave, thanks for looking at my 2000. You can judge the car for real in Tahoe next fall.Mike Doty
