    Stamp Pad Opinions

Came across this stamp pad and haven't seen one like it before. Looks to me that they flubbed the first VIN derivative and then just hit it again in a different spot. Any one else seen one like this before?

Not common but did occur We have a chapter member who has a 300 HP PG car that we think was hit 4 - 5 times It is a crazy stamp and original

I used to own a 73 convertible that had a VIN overstamp on the last digit of the VIN. The overstamp was on both the engine and transmission.
Engine and trans were originally stamped 13S422398, then it looked like the entire VIN derivative was stamped again, this time with 13S422397.
      The correct VIN was 422397.
