    Early 69' Grill bracket configurations?

I searched the archives, but did not find what I was looking for. I have a sept' 68' built 69' that I have been slowly restoring. Over time shops and helpers have lost a few of my parts. I am now reviewing the front grill brackets. I have the 2 piece upper/lower outside brackets and they are the 68' brackets. I have no idea what bracket I had for the inner brackets. I understand if they were 68' style I believe I would also need an upper center bracket. I do not have the 68' AIM and I believe the 69' AIM only shows the 69' configuration.
Can anyone tell me with any certainty what my configuration should look like? Was there a point in time that the inner brackets could have been the 69' style and the outer brackets the 68' style?
    I would appreciate any insight.
    Thanks,
    Joe

Anyone with 68' and early 69' knowledge?
    Thanks.

      Joe,

I have an early 1969, body date is September 30th (B30) 1968--also "slowly" restoring. My car has the '68 style grill brackets at all positions, inner and outer. I suppose '69 inner brackets could have been used as you propose, but in my opinion it would be best to use one style or the other and not mix them during restoration. '68 style brackets are certainly the exception to the rule on '69's, but I am convinced that they were used in early production. It is good to know that I'm not the only one w/this configuration. (it would be good to document a few more cars with the '68 brackets.)
