Which radials for my '57 with stock 15 x5 wheels?

Could someone please help me out? I want to put radial tires on my 57. It has factory 15 x 5 wheels with bias ply tires and my wife and I go on one day road trips every other weekend. The car is a driver, we love to get out of town but the bias ply tires just don't cut it. I really don't want to change my wheels, only the tires.

Any advice from people who have radials on their C1 with 15 x5 wheels (or know about this situation) would be greatly appreciated.

I do want to stick with the wide white walls though.

    Thanks,

    Rick

If she were mine, I would shop Diamondback Tires and buy a set of 205/75R15 radials. Attached is their catalog...go to page 6 for some nice wide whitewalls.

Thanks Leif!! I just ordered a set of 4 radials with 2 1/2" wide white walls from them. Spoke to Rusty, I mentioned I heard about them on the NCRS forum and he dropped the price from $199 each to $179 each. With shipping I paid $870 total.

      Thanks again for the advice!

Richard you will love the Diamondbacks on your 57.
You will not believe the difference in the handling and the ride.

Thanks Dave, I can't wait to get them. Bias ply tires are ok for judging, but I'd rather have better handling and safety!
