Seat bottoms 1959
Are the seat bottoms interchangeable ie passenger fits the driver side and driver fits the passenger side

John I believe for proper fit you have to have them on the correct side.
I know this to be true on the early 56/57 cars,
In 56/57 if they were not on the correct side the cushion would not go down far enough to cover the seat tracks.
In judging I have found many cars where the owner was not aware of this.

Dave is correct, 1956 to 1960 are side specific. The outer front frame bar profile on each one is raised to accommodate the track adjustment lever.Comment
