70-72 marker lights reflector question.

In each rear corner marker light there is a rectangular box of reflective material within the larger reflective area. That box has vertical lines within it. I just bought reproductions, and the height of that box is 3/4". My originals are 5/8". There is nothing about that in my copy of the new JG. I am curious if all repros have the taller rectangle. My recollection is that taller-box lens is 75-up and for the plastic housing, not the 70-72 metal housing.

I assume that you're referring to the side marker lamp LENS. The 1970-73 rear lens does have 5/8" high "box" in the center of the lens whereas the 74-82 has a taller "box", about 3/4". I don't know if there are any reproductions that are correct in this regard.

By the way, GM never offered the side marker lenses as separate parts. They were obtained only as part of the complete side marker lamp assembly.
