Re: Altoona, PA - Pictures?
More Pa. Regional Pictures! Enjoy!
This is my first Regional. As a member of the host chapter (Pittsburgh Tri-State Chapter)it's really been a great experience for me. So many great cars, and so many great NCRS members to finally meet in person.Tomorrow's the last day. I'll try to take a few more photos. Plan to OJ tomorrow.

Re: Altoona, PA - Pictures?
Yes John, that is CJ's race car. That car sounds as great as it looks. It shook the Convention Center coming in and going out! Here are some more pictures from today. Sorry if any are repeats. I had a great day today. Had the opportunity to OJ today on 70-72 Exterior with two of the greats, John Ballard and Patrick Hulst. Thanks guys, it was a pleasure meeting you both and what a great learning experience.

Re: Altoona, PA - Pictures?
Here's a link to my photos that I just did a quick processing on...make sure to see the not ONE but TWO 1957 Air Box cars! it's almost unheard to have two such magnificent cars together...Thanks to Mike McCagh and John Justo for bringing them out...Mike passed his PV and John did wonderful in flight judging!
We'll be seeing more of them in the near future...salt & pepper...I'm sure you'll figure it out!
Vinnie
Also take note of the 7 mile 2001 Z06 that belongs to Sue Strawmyer, first time the car has seen the light of day since the day it came off the car carrier from the dealer without even being prepped!
Also don't miss John DeGregory receiving the NCRS President's Award at the banquet last night!

BLACK AIR BOX 57 #5655 AIR BOX- Frank Buck, in Pennsylvania bought this car from DAN HALL in Southern California in the mid 80’s. Dan is a aircraft mechanic who worked at LAX at that time. Today he lives in Hawaii. Ed Wittwer knows him.
It was the first 57 AIR BOX of five owned by Frank. It was restored by Dick Robinson in 1987-88 and sold to Irwin Croix in Ambler, PA. Ted and Shannon traded it to Rick Cole for a Ferrari in Spring 2016. Mike McCagh bought the car in 2016. One of the best known AIR BOX cars .
