Over on the CF there was a question about the correct location of the Anti Theft Alarm rear key switch. There were a couple AIM photos (illustrations) posted up showing the measurements, location, and they also included illustrations of the alarm horn. These were from earlier cars before the alarm became standard equipment in 72. I also realize that there wouldn't be a need to illustrate measurements on the 73 because it was standard so the key switch hole would already be present from the mold. I was looking thru my AIM to see if the illustrations were present, but I couldn't find anything showing the horn, or wiring going to it and to the switch. All I found in it was the photo below, and there are also illustrations of the wiring harness showing the door jamb and hood switches.
Even though it was standard equipment shouldn't there be a photo showing where it should be installed on the car on the line?
My alarm system is fine and working as it should. I'm just curious about it not being illustrated in the AIM.
I didn't notice any missing pages that I could tell!
Thanks,
