3269s AFB carter carburator

I rebuilt a 3269 AFB carter carb and took it for a drive. Everything worked fine except when we hit the secondaries, then when we returned to idle the secondaries were perculating into the barrels. Float levels, metering rods and jets are all correct. Any ideas appreciated.

Phil,

Make sure the air bleeds are open and be certain you used the right gasket between the secondary venturi and main body. I believe if the air bleeds are somehow clogged a suction can form possibly causing your condition.
