                My heart goes out to Chuck and his family at this difficult time. Pat made Chuck so happy. You could feel their happiness every time you were in there company.

                        Thank you for the prayers, the kind words, and the kind thoughts. This has been a devastating loss for me, a loss that was totally unexpected. Pat died of ovarian cancer. She had been asymptomatic, developed some bleeding... saw her GYN doc... was diagnosed.... and died 6 days later.

                        We had been together for 52 years, since college in 1965.

                                                Thanks again to all for the kind words, thoughts and prayers. It's been a few days over 3 weeks since Pat died, and it still doesn't seem real.
