Tammy, that is a hard question to answer. SILVER is a rare interior color. No company makes the correct carpet [ originally gray ], so to match exact door panel color on a 52 year old car will be difficult at best.

AL KNOCH INTERIOR has been building reproduction interiors for years. www.alknochinteriors.com/.

    MID AMERICA in Effingham, IL
    www.mamotorworks.com/ also had great products.

CORVETTE CENTRAL has been suppling the
    holy since the 70's. www.corvettecentral.com/

    There are more like ZIP.

All great companies suppling the hobby for many years. Personally, if it were my car, I would want
every silver part to match [ door panel, kick panel, seat cover]. Without knowing more of your needs, you may only need an interior dye.

In 1982, I owned an original 67 red / red convertible. The original interior was faded from sun, so I bought three cans of red interior dye. I saved a nice original interior. Not NCRS new perfect repo, but very acceptable. RIT DYE fixed the faded red carpets. All purchased from a good interior shop and auto paint store that mixed the colors to match good originals.

Thanks Jim for the advise. We would rather have original panels but driver side is a repo and the passenger side is a 66 panel with a scratch from the window crank that our friend traded us years ago. Dr. Rebuild has a better price than Knoch on repo silver panels and we need to figure out which direction to go on the door panels.

Al Knoch, Corvette America and MidAmerica are the only ones who actually make the panels.
Check around to see who will give the best pricing. If you go to Carlisle and talk to Al, you will probably do the best.

Mike, there is a few threads in the archives about these door panels and the issues getting the repo's to fit. I inherited some AK with my Red 65 and have quite a bit of time into getting an acceptable fit. Still not happy but will live with them for now.

I bought the deluxe panels for my 65 coupe from Corvette America and the fit was perfect WITHOUT any modifications. I'll be ordering from them again for my 65 convertible. I can't help you with the color match as both cars have black interior.

The original panels were found and they need to be restored. We are looking for someone to make them look new.
