My 1984 Corvette with the Z51 option has two fans. One is called a pusher according to the Corvette black book. I am being told no 1984 had two fans from the factory regardless of the Z51 option. I am being told it was a after market fan, that a second fan was not introduced until 1985 with the Z51 option. Anyone have the truth. My car was a November 1983 production.

Michael Antonick's Corvette Black Book lists RPO Z51 including: Heavy-duty front and rear springs, shock absorbers, stabilizer bars and bushings. Also included: fast steering ratio, engine oil cooler, EXTRA RADIATOR FAN (PUSHER), P255/50VR16 tires and directional alloy wheels. (16x8.5 inch front and 16x9.5 rear)
Black book data is extracted from GM Heritage Archives found here so your Z51 car did come with pusher fan:

p.s. copy of Antonick's page for 1984 is included in GM pdf. Might ask the "1985" folks for their information source.Judging Chairman Mid-Way USA (Kansas) Chapter- Top
