    Scan tool

    Scan tool does not link to dlc either key off or key in running position. Scan tool links to other vehicles make. Any suggestions welcomed ob1, c4

          Car starts runs fine until you shut it off then it is a long hard start

            If there is no service engine light I would check fuel pressure. And the fuel pump

                      That is the problem it will not link (scan tool) with DLC (under dash) It tells me with two seperate tools bringing up codes is not possible. I just tested both tools with a different vehicle and it worked. These OB1 are not Gm best effort Its a hit or miss and you can throw a load of parts at it . Had the same problem in 1989 the Z24 would just die any where at any time!

                        Do you know anyone local that has a professional grade older scanner like a Snap On referred to has the brick or a Mac. While the hobby grade scanner might work on some cars others cost more for a reason
