1963 C2 front spindles are the Left and Right sides the same?

Are the Left and Right sides the same on 1963 front spindles?
If not how can one tell which side is which?
    Thanks

Both sides are the same for all C2. However, the steering arms, bolted to the spindles, are side-specific. The exact same thing is also true for C3 Corvettes.

      Rich,

Here's a couple of pics of the front spindles and the steering arms. As you can see there are different casting numbers on the right and left arms. And the spindles are the same for both sides. These are from a 63 coupe ZO-6 but all 63's had the same. Casting numbers are 3817593 and 594. Joe L. could probably provide you with part numbers if your need them.

Nice JR, what do you have on them to keep them from rusting?

          Thanks guys.
I always appreciate how much easier this forum makes getting a car back to stock condition. Amazing resource!
I wanted to be sure I was doing this correctly. Without the body on the frame getting the spring compressed is a PITA.
After getting it together I was thrilled until I went to install the shocks. The top of the spring was not center in the recess at the top.
I attempted to move it with a bar and haven't had any luck yet. Decided it needed a nights rest before I damaged something. I am including a picture of my work so far.

            Gary,

            Glass Beaded and--

Used a Crystal Clear Acrylic/Satin by Krylon. Got it at Wall Mart.

Those were painted back in the 90's but they have not been exposed to the weather.
