Oregon PV T3 headlight change

Getting ready for September PV. Decide to change out my original T3 headlights and replace with Lectric Limited repros.

Don't want to be worrying about the headlights deciding to burn out during PV. Will take them with me in case new ones go bad.

Anyone see any problem with that in regard to PV? Will reinstall originals for final flight judging.

Here's a photo of one of the bulbs. Car's production date is 4-27-67. Date stamp on back of bulb when decoded is 4-8-1967

Not sure it's kosher to swap parts before/after a PV to suit flight judging.

No problem using newer DOT headlights for PV, just remember to change them back before your Duntov judging. Good luck!

btw: this is only true for PV, if you are referring to the ops judging during flight judging you will want to use your non DOT lights.
