    Drive shaft U joint fasteners

    The correct part # for the U shaped bolts that are used on '64 drive shafts U joints is 1358938. Please see the attached pic.

    The bolt on the left is what I removed from my car, I am not 100% certain that it is original.

    The U bolt on the right is new, from LIC. Notice the thread size is considerably different. The LIC thread is fine, the one I took off my car is coarse. Also, the LIC bolt has a stamp on the outside top (on the crown) that reads "CEM" or "GEM". My guess is that the LIC bolts are not correct.

    Question is, does the U bolt I removed from my car look correct (the one on the left), and specifically does the thread size appear correct?

    The u-bolt on the left appears correct and the original u-bolts were coarse thread (5/16-18).
