The clip that holds the a/c hoses to the fender-well has two bolts/screws in each one. Mine has a 7/16 head with R B W head markings. The AIM says part number 120706 and is called a bolt on one page and a screw on another page. A friend told me that a screw holds down the clip. What is correct?

Re: 64 a/c hose clip bolt
The 120706 is a zinc plated 1/4 x 20 thread x 1/2 in length hex head bolt. The 1/4 hex nut have the star type lock washer attached to the nut. The bolts in my early 1965 actually measured about 9/16 in length but the 120706 is supposed to be 1/2 in length.- Top

Page's info is spot-on. You could have a lot of different head markings there too. Important thing is that it's usually a grade 2 Bolt. Another thing to look for is if your retaining strap is original, The Originals had an a with a s stamped over the top of it right in the middle. Reproductions don't- Top
