    65 standard master cylinder

I have a '65 master cylinder with a Julian date of 239 (August). My car's body build date was June 4. Can this master cylinder be correct for my car according to NCRS standards? Could the part have been produced in August of 1964 and used on my car in 1965?

Steve, check your VIN against a birthday calculator as see when the car was built.
