1955 "Presentation" Corvette

I was contacted last week by a gentleman who wanted to talk about a 1955 Corvette that he had purchased in the '80s and had just stuck it away. He also alluded to the prior owner telling a tale about it being a "presentation" car, without any details, but the car is supposedly red/red.....which isn't supposed to be possible......and is a "radio delete......also supposedly not possible.....and is a 3 speed car in the 500s VIN.......again not.... I'm waiting for further details and photos
Any of the long time '55 owners ever hear of a red/red "presentation" '55 or ??

Keep us posted as I know of a 55 that was "created" by a man in Memphis, TN and was Presented in Little Rock, AR.at a disco club on display for many a day.
It fits that description but was "Created" and not by GM.

It was probably one of them early metal Corvettes.
