Luggage Rack

Hi-Yah Sports Fans
I am having a minor situation with my luggage rack. Is there a right way or a wrong way to mount said animal? Mine comes out offset to the left a bit. With the lid open (mid way) I have an 1/8" gap on the passenger side and a 1/4"+ on the driver side. What gap is acceptable or does it even matter?

that sounds very acceptable
they were dealer installed - not like the holes were punched at the factory.

on my old 72, it was never exactly perfectly centered ..


From a judging standpoint - its gets standard deductions for the fiberglass missing from the deck area.

IMHO - it is fine.
