Paint for C2 license Plate Lamp

Painting the licence plate lamp on my '67 and am finding it difficult to match the original silver. Everything I have found has metallic...does anybody offer a dull aluminum that is a close match? Can anybody make a recommendation as to what I should use?

I used an aluminum color paint in a spray can there is no metallic in it.

What brand of paint did you guys use? I can only find silver that has metallic...I need to find a dull aluminum without metallic.

Try Lowes aluminum color paint. Also good for intake manifold.

Thanks for the replies. I found this on Amazon earlier this afternoon and ordered a can in dull aluminum, I'll let you know whether it's close.
