    57 Shock Absorbers/Nearest to Original

What would be a good choice for a set of Shock Absorbers (Nearest to Original) for a 57?

    Regards,

Other than finding a set of NOS originals or rebuilt originals, I'd suggest that you go with current Monroe or Gabriel replacements. These are easily available and quite economical. If you intend to drive and enjoy the car, I especially recommend going with the Monroe or Gabriel. Remove any labels.

The Monroe shocks are #5751, front, and #5818, rear. The Gabriel shocks are #82026, front, and #82039, rear.

If you plan to drive and enjoy your Corvette go with the Monroe's or Gabriel shocks.
99% of shocks currently are gas filled, which is fine.
I have some on my 62 and 57 Corvette.
