Phil, It would be interesting to know if earlier C2 (63/64)cars had these pads. Anyone care to chime in.

My 1964 convertible built January 18, VIN #925x did not have the anti-rattle pads. I am the second owner, bought the car in 1980 and it had never been apart or repainted. This is a St. Louis built car as is the '65 I sent the pictures of. Could it possibly be St. Louis or AO Smith thing? Just another thing to consider.
