Hi ...54 Corvette Wonderbar Radio A few Questions or problems that a lot of us have had regarding these radios. If these are a somewhat easy service to perform with explanation or guidance from someone who has done this, I might try my self. If not who in Wash State (close to Aberdeen Wash) could I talk to? Here are my radio issues. Radio hum, which tube do I jiggle or replace at speaker I believe to fix hum, seek keeps seeking and sometimes will stop on strong station. I have to turn off then on to hand tune. I believe the push buttons do the same as the seek. Push then seeks but does not stop till turn off. If I spend too much time with this I will pop fuse. If there are some things I can check or do I (we) would appreciate it. Thank you, Brad.

Re: 54 Wonderbar Radio
Hi Brad. Sounds like condenser/shielding issues for the humming and the constant dialing its maybe its not getting any signal. (My past experience ) But they all are unique. I recommend that you don't play Inspector Gadget. I've had the same issue with my radio and trying to fix it yourself can make you wish you never bought the car. There are a few guys who can completely restore your WB. They are listed in Hemmings and I think in the Drive line NCRS news letter. Have a look at both. But its probably the same guys.
I'm sure our other a C1 brothers can send you a name of a wonderbar expert.
Good luck

Re: 54 Wonderbar Radio
The radio will hum slightly - normal
The sensitivity can be adjusted - the knob on the left if I am not mistaken
I send my radios to Charles Siegfried
