Where do these tranny french locks go???

    Guys,

I've attached a photo of what I've been told are "tranny french locks" that I believe originally came off of my car during disassembly. I cannot find where they are supposed to go as I do not see any in my AIM. Any guidance is appreciated.

    Mike

I think they are for the front bearing retainer.
    Kind regards

Mike only thing I would add is to seal those bolts when you install them.

Also, these locks are side-specific. They are NOT both the same.

No, the French locks will keep those bolts locked in place. These are through hole and oil will wick out the threads, use Permatex high temp thread sealant or #2. Here you can see inside at those holes.
