    Over tightening fuel bowl screws whether a fuel injection or a carburetor results in warping the bowl.

      I agree with those that suggest trying it yourself. I spent hundreds of dollars with a reputable carb rebuilder and my Holley never did run right. Between YouTube and other internet sources I was finally able to fix it myself. I would recommend buying the rebuild kit from Holley if you decide to tackle it yourself.

        Can you advice which Holley rebuild kit number would be correct? I went to their website and was not sure which was the one needed. Thanks.

            Assuming you have the factory carb (or correct service replacement), the rebuild kit is part #37-1539 (I actually got through to the Holley Tech Line, that's what they recommended). It's about $115. It worked for me. There might be a cheaper alternative (it contains a lot of parts that weren't used), but that is what Holley would tell you.
