1970 Grills: Repro vs. Good Used vs. Damaged

My mid-June 1970 has '71-'72 style grills installed, so I'm shopping '70 grills.

Reproduction, $1,300 for a set of two: Does anyone have feedback about the reproduction '70 grills available? Photo below is from eBay.

Damaged, $200- $500 each side: I regularly see broken grills on eBay. Is this type of damage repairable? Or is this expensive junk?

Good used, $800 - $1,200 each side, depending on condition, is the expensive alternative.

    Thanks,

I saw and held the reproductions at Carlisle. Looked nice, If that's what you like I would want to compare them to originals before I bought. Nice originals, not broken with all the studs will show up under 1000. for the Pair; keep looking you'll find them. Here's a recent example. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...new-paint.html

I had Richard Fortier restore my 1970 grills. He mentioned that he could add studs to the grills.

Richard repaired/restored/repainted an extra set for me, which included repairing a few broken studs, and he did an amazing job. Just be aware that all of that outstanding work is not cheap.
