Early vs late build parts ordering

    Folks,
I'm replacing the speedo and tach cables on my '64 coupe.
The car is an April build according to the VIN.
The current speedometer cable is white, but I have no idea if it's original.
In pricing cables I noticed that this cable is offered in both black and white, depending on build.
Can anyone tell me if my car would have been considered early or late in '64?
Given that many builds ended in June I'm guessing late, but I'd like to be sure.

    Regards,
    Jack

I think but can't confirm that the white cable was used with 3 speed and was routed differently from 4 speed. My experience is with 65 and only assuming the 64 was similar, possibly not.

Cars were built Sept 63 to July 64, so you would be a late build.
