I believe Zora was at Ontario for some 1971 road tests. They tested different engine options. I believe Ralph is right--this particular car is an LT-1. This picture has been used in conjunction with an LS6 article, but I don't believe it is an LS6 car.

Having spent more than my fair share of "study halls" with my nose in Hot Rod Magazine or Car Craft, I can tell from those "Keystone" and "Empi" signs in the background they're at the dragstrip at Orange County International Raceway.
