64 Seat Back Dis-Assembly

I need to replace the cardboard backing on my seat backs. A little knowledge goes a long way.

On the bottom I see the hog rings which I understand but what is the configuration of the long seam across the entire width.

I looked at about 10 pages of posts and saw nothing. Would appreciate any comment.

OK...I received no responses. But I have the seats out and between looking at them and the AIM the seam at the bottom is four spikes/tabs. The backside vinyl cover goes over them first and then the seat frontside cover. The tabs are then bent over to the back. The edges of both the front anbd back covers have a hard wire so the tabs don't rip out. So my new question is this: Are the tabs maleable enough to bend up a little and then bend back down or are they likely to break?

If the seat covers have been replaced several times they might break. I think one or two of the tabs on my 63 broke but there was enough there to hold the seat cover.
