Body mount parts ident.

When I purchased my '68 conv. in 1973 it came with a box of new parts shown below.

334755
334756
3831586 (all cushion units)

454937 (bolts)

Are these cushions still o.k. to use after all these years, where do they go on the car and are they new old stock or service replacement?

3843943 (bell housing lower plate)

What does this fit and is it new old stock or service replacement?

The 3843943 cushions are shown in the 68 AIM, UPC 4, Sheet B1, Item 3. They are top/bottom spring cushions mounted at the rear of the trailing arms.

The 3843943 item is a bell housing inspection cover.

Cushion 334755 applies to 73-76 Corvette. My parts book calls it a "cushion kit, #2 and #3 body bolt".

Cushion 334756 applies to 73-81 Corvette. My parts book calls it a "cushion, body bolt #1, #2, #3 and #4".

The number 454937 does not appear in the 68 AIM.

GM #454937 is a standard hex head bolt of 7/16-14 X 3-1/2" and GM 300M material grade (SAE grade 8). I don't know what application this bolt may or may not have served on a Corvette.
