This is an A/C lid for 1966-72 open element air cleaners. Based on the configuration of the silk screen, I'd say it's likely from a 1970-72. Of course, it could also be a SERVICE lid produced 1970+.

1970-72 has the silk screen instructions on straight lines, not curved like this one. I would call this (based only on the silk screen instructions) a mid-1969 or earlier example.

Thanks very much guys... I was wonder if this is the same application for a '67? I notice the font appears to be thicker but the text is the same. It also appears that there is some oil build between the characters which could be throwing off my perception of the true thickness?
