Products for original interior panel cleaning and maintenance

Are there any recommended products, perhaps from auto geek, that are recommended for cleaning and maintenance of the original vinyl door panels and other plastic interior items.
    Thank you,
    Don

For a good vinyl protectant, I'd recommend the '303' product line from Autogeek.

I agree...303 is the best product.

For cleaning vinyl and leather, try dish soap diluted with warm water in a spray bottle. For regular upkeep of a clean yet bit dusty interior, lightly wipe surfaces with a lint-free cloth that's slightly dampened with this mixture. For smudges and soiled spots, gently work with a soft bristle brush then wipe off with a clean, lint-free cloth. You can then optionally apply a protectant of your choice.

Dish soap gently yet effectively emulisifies dirt and grease. It leaves no residue and shows the natural, clean finish of the material. It's a trick I learned from a professional detailer years ago.

I stopped using most "protectants" because I don't like greasy, shiny residue. Probably the best protectant is to keep the interior away from the sun and extreme temperatures.

I have not heard of 303. Does it leave a shine/residue?

Full name is Aerospace 303. No shiny residue, or any kind of residue for that matter. I use it on all vinyl surfaces. It can be found at marine supply stores, but an internet search will usually yield the best prices.

I just found and ordered a kit on amazon that includes 303 spray cleaner, 303 spray protectant, a hand scrub brush and micro fiber towels. $1.50 shipping (no prime) and then a $6.95 discount deducted at check out.

Mark- I agree, diluted Dawn is a nice/gentle cleaner. As for 303, it is also know to contain good UV protection... consider giving it a try.

                  I'll give 303 a try.

I've used Meguiars' product line for a long time, including their Vinyl & Rubber 40 dressing. It also claims UV protection but leaves a subtle sheen (much less than say, Armor All). I use it mostly for tires. Below is a review of it on Amazon, which interestingly compares it to 303.
