63 hubcaps frost type

On frost type 63 hubcaps can the coating be removed to put them back to plain stainless steel, such as polishing the finish off - if required

Sure, any restorer can do it or you can buff it off yourself.

Keith, I've done this myself and suggest using capt lee's stripper. The "frost" is just paint. You will find the stainless beneath the paint to be very nice. Remove the spinner and bars first to provide easy access to the finish.
