I have a receipt from my local Chevy dealer from 1985 for this part. it was listed as cam shaft

I have an Corvette Parts and Accessories catalog listing all parts used in 1953 thru 1969. Camshafts are listed in group 0.519, your number is not listed. From this I can only guess it is a later cam. Let's see what record Joe may have of this number. My guess is that Joe not only has the description and timing specs but ten of them on the shelve in the basement. Good luck with this! Bill

I can find no record of this part number. So, it's either a part used in PRODUCTION but never available in SERVICE or it's a part number for a component of an assembly never available separately. The part number dates from the late 1965 to early 1966 period.

I think the number is likely GM #3863151. If that's the case, then it is a camshaft---the 1965-68 L-79 camshaft.
