AC 306 radiator cap C1 & new guy welcome

Hello & greetings. My name is James , but I go by my middle name which is Bentley. I live near Cincinnati, Ohio. More about me later. I primarily joined to gain further information, by research , of a few parts I want to sell and cannot find any information about.

Curently, I have a AC 306 radiator cap on eBay. I have no idea of its value ?nor can I find another picture of a similar (exact) cap. I am not sure of its application? I have read 1961, but the cap shown looks nothing like mine. Provided is a picture of my cap. Thank you. Please go easy on me. I used the search feature and AC 306 was not found. I am still exploring the site and learning the ropes. I do know a few members as I am a long time Chevy guy, especially "old school" pre 1974 stuff.

Your yellow-green tint 306 looks to be original. Value? I don't see many asking for them. I've had an original one in a box for 20+ years.

Mike, thank you for your honest appraisal. Guess I won't be retiring just yet. I feel like I took that proverbial 1 step forward, 2 steps back? I paid to be a member and this part probably will not cover that membership cost? Regardless, I am sure I will make some new friends on here and learn stuff along the way and who can put a price on that? Thanks.

Mike, or anyone? You said that it looks original, but could you confirm the application, please? Is it for a 1961?

Based on what I could see of James's cap, it appears to be original. I noted the slight deformations around the stamping. Reproductions look more like they have bee laser cut stampings. Joe Perri can verify it's originality. He restores them and he did one for me, an RC-1 7# for my 59. I found the cap at Carlisle in a junk box and had Joe verify it. In all I have $200 into mine which includes shipping.
