My thoughts and prayers go out to Lou, Terry and the rest of the Scrivner family in these trying times. I appointed Gilbert Vice President of NCRS when I was President and he assumed the presidency when I left the board. He was a true friend and enthusiast and always loved the organization. He will be missed.

I counted Gilbert among my closest friends. He will be missed as an NCRS member and as a good man. Today, it occurs to me that we are all tough, but life is fragile. RIP my friend.

Gilbert was a close friend as we judged together and spent many times at the Joplin meets and a couple of Nationals. It's a sad time for all of us at the NCRS.

A very, very sad day! He was one of the Presidents of NCRS I had the honor of serving, a friend, a mentor, and a great co pilot on many trips across our country from the central to the west and back and from the central to the east and back we traveled a lot of miles and solved a lot of problems most did not even realize they had. A great, compassionate man who cared for people, family and friends. May God Bless and keep he and his family.
