    1968 BB Radiator from DeWitts

I'm looking at replacing the original radiator in my 68 L71. DeWitts web site advertises the same one for 67 and 68. Are the two years exactly the same or are there cosmetic/physical differences?

    thanks

    ps

l will call them tomorrow when they open, but I trust the knowledge on this board to identify subtle differences that might cause a surprise.

The 1967 and 1968 Corvette big block copper brass radiators were the same for both years. In fact, there were actually 2 different radiators used for both years. Applications with manual transmission used GM #3008567. Applications with auto transmission used GM #3008566. The latter included an internal oil cooler. GM discontinued the 3008567 in December, 1971 and replaced it with the 3008566 for 67-68 SERVICE.

All 67-68 Corvette big blocks except L-88 used the above-referenced radiators. These radiators were not used for non-Corvette applications.

Could there be nuance differences over the years of manufacture of these radiators? Of course.
