Lacquer touch up paint

Hi, my 1973 has single stage paint much of which I believe is the original lacquer in dark blue metallic. I have a couple small touch ups to do, including a small chip I just caused at the door edge.

Most of the touch up paint I have seen advertised is base coat / clear coat. Does anyone know a source for specifically lacquer touch up paint?

I don't know of any lacquer touch-up paint, but I have used this company for my '64s and '66s with single stage lacquer paints for small touchups and they look and match great, I buy only the base coat color:

I use APS Tower Paint Co http://www.apstowerpaint.com/. They mix single stage lacquer for classics in various application methods. They are the only folks that I have been able to find still able to provide lacquer. Ph 1-800.779.6520. Mike I think your source is 2 stage and applying just the basecoat won't fully cure the paint. Its not lacquer per se.

Mine cures fine, totally dry and ready to wax and buff after about 30 minutes. It is also nice and thick so it fills chips well.
