Discovered! Hidden cup holder in 66 roadster!

What a pleasant surprise to find the hidden cup holder in my 66 roadster! 😎 Thanks to the early 60s engineers with the forethought to put this here. The only fault is that you need to remove the body to get to it😉

Reminds me of my teacher who in 1969 inherited a '57 Chevy from his father. He drove it for years with a rattle in the door that drove him a little crazy. He eventually pulled the door panel for another reason and found an empty soda bottle. Unfortunately there was no note inside.

Actually there are 2 of those cup holders, right? Driver side and Passenger side.

Wife's '63 coupe had a interesting spare "Oil Cap" holder when I took the kick panel grille off......
I have no clue why anyone would put that in there.
