    73 Cowl Debris Screens

    I have a 73 Coupe

The car was once repainted blue.

There is over spray on the cowl debris screens.

Were the screens a typical shiny hardware screen finish, blacked out, body color, or none of the above.

    Thank you for the input.

    They were blacked out.

I've owned my 73 for 37 years, second owner. It's never been painted. The two screens, passenger side and diriver side, have no overspree paint on them. The car is Yellow Metallic. It looks like the screens were never painted, just look dull silver screening and slightly rusted.

This area was blacked out. I am sure there were variations on the coverage as it was humans that painted it not robots.

I have a 1973 with lacquer paint, much of which I believe to be original. The screens on my car look to be a lightly applied blackout, which has a flat or low lustre appearance.
