I am the one who bought it. I did a quick search on here and it seemed to be real. so I took a chance. The 65 my dad just bought someone butchered the antenna so he was in need of one for his resto.- Top

At some point in the late 60s or early 70s GM started selling a service replacement for the '65/'66 power antenna that looked substantially different from the original production antenna. That suggests the antenna you bought dates from the mid to late 1960s. So, not to throw cold water on your find (which I agree is a treasure) have you received your antenna and confirmed that it works smoothly? I wonder if after 50 years could the grease have become hardened and, if so, will it need to be rebuilt? I hope that's not the case, but you might want to contact Greg Thompson and ask his advice about bench testing it before installing it.
