1969 Vacuum Hoses

I am in the process of reinstalling a rebuilt wiper motor and cleaning up the vacuum hoses as I go. I have a piece of vacuum hose going to the wiper door solenoid that should have a yellow stripe. I don't want to buy a full hose kit to get the 16 inches or so of hose I need to replace the existing hose.

I would be interested to know if any of you have thoughts about this. Thanks in advance.

If I recall correctly that is a 5/16ths ID and 1/2" OD. Does that sound right?

I don't have it with me but that sounds about right. They're either the larger size you mention or the control side which is smaller.

Do any of you have any guidance for me as to the vacuum passing in front or behind the wiper motor? I.e., which side of the wiper "should" they be run?
