"After a parking maneuver went wrong, a blue Ford ended up on top of a 1959 Corvette in a Walmart parking lot in Englewood, Florida, on Thursday, March 2. This video shows a truck removing the sedan from the top of the other car.

The accident happened when the driver of the Ford mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, according to reports. No one was injured."

It looks more like it was dropped from a helicopter on top of the vette.

Attention Walmart shoppers in the future please park between the lines, not on other cars.

That's my understanding....the incident has been all over the news, nationwide and on a bazillion classic car web sites...there are also videos of the Ford being pulled off the C1. All things considered the C1 damage looked relatively light....assuming the DS hinge pillar area wasn't twaked...

Makes a great story but the truth is simply that the other driver hit the gas instead of the brake.

That makes it sound like the wife wanted to put her Ford inside the Corvette.
