    c1 Door Window Replacement

Please help, I tried all afternoon trying to take out the window from the door on my 1962. Help! Are there any videos or instructions available showing the removable of the window? Please

The ST-12 manual has a procedure for window removal, installation and adjustment.

If you don't have one, you can google it as there are several places online that have the ST-12 in pdf format.

Ed, Definitely buy a hardcopy, but for now.....

However, I find it easier to raise the window and remove the rear channel first. ST-12 says to remove the window first. This gives you more wiggle room later to get the window out after you lower the window to remove the 4 small screws from the lower sash channel.

ST-12 procedure also doesn't tell you about the rubber outer sash gutter that gives grief, or about how much of a PITA it is to get it back IN the door and the fun to get the forward outer roller in the channel. It's a trial and error to get these done so just go slow and you'll find the sweet spot.

In your other post , it never got answered, but attached below is how I do it. And other things you may find useful after you get the window out.

Ed, I am away from home so unable to access my server. Maybe someone else can send you a email with the files attached. I can't do that easily from this smartphone I'm on.

PS. If you double-click on each file attached it should open for view or print. Or "right-click" on each file attached it should show a drop down menu, then "left-click" ...."Save As". Or a similar way depending on which computer you're using.

Ed, Just sent you a email with the 3 pdf's.

The name of the book is: 1953 - 1962 Corvette Servicing Guide ST-12

You probably cannot find it in the NCRS Store, because it is nowhere to be found. I can't find it anywhere.

Probably send a note to David King .......... shopkeeper@ncrs.org

...or (513) 760-6277 EST please. from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
