Re: 1990 Vette, Replacing Rear Light Bulbs
I once on my 1985 removed the license plate, think I removed the backup light, them removed the inboard taillight so I could reach in and change the bulb. Now if he has a child or his wife with smaller arms one of them may be able to get to the bulb socket from under the rear of his 1990. Another time on my 1985, this was a long time ago after the first time, I unbolted the rear bracket on the muffler so it could be lowered and supported the muffler to reach the bulb socket. This was still not a easy reach.- Top

I replaced taillights once on a 1987 using this method. It was a bear. Getting help from someone with small arms and hands may make it easier.Mark Edmondson
