In the '67 fifth edition judging manual it list the bolts for the tri power Lid base bolts as being "FP" my question is this, were any other bolts used. I just find that hard to believe that were the only ones used considering all the venders that were supplying bolts.

Re: BB Tri Power Air Cleaner Lid Base Bolts
Not one example I know of involving any original car with any other bolts other than FP. I believe LF were used in 68 and up, but FP's are the only known original base bolt. Pricey too.....but cool to have....ARA. Keep in mind that these botls were of the type of configuration that are unique (these botls couldn't be substituted on any other part of the car as with some other original bolts). Thus, makes sense that only one type of bolt/headmarking was used.....Regards....and also keep in mind out of the 22,940 67's, these only went on 400 and 435 cars.....- Top

Re: BB Tri Power Air Cleaner Lid Base Bolts
Mark, would it have been possible for an April of '67 car to have the "A" bolts? Also could sometime in the model year in '68 that they have the "LF" bolts. Maybe a study needs to be done.- Top
