Pad between seats on '66 coupe

I am looking at changing the pad between the seats, it has the seat belt buckle attachment over the top front of it. Before I start poking around, does anyone know how it comes off so I can put the new cover on the top? Thanks for any help.

I think you will find that it is screwed to the rear end of the shifter console.

Thanks Joe. So do you have to remove the vinyl/leather cover to get to it then?

Mike, You need to remove all the console screws and lift it up about 3 or 4 inches to get the pad out. You don't need to remove the seat belt holder to get it out.
