Original Tire Options for 57

I am about to purchase tires for an early production 57 and would like to confirm that the following type tires were offered as original equipment and would be a good choice.

Coker: Firestone Deluxe Champion, Bias Ply, 670-15, 2 11/16" whitewall.

Note! I believe these tires have the name and other specs. on the whitewall (not the blackwall) in raised lettering.
